1. How is the door opening reserved?

The first case is that all the door openings are shear walls. That is to say, when the main body is being constructed, concrete is poured around the opening of the door through tying steel bars, which is directly poured to form a shear wall opening. This kind of opening basically appears in some high-rise frame-shear structures. The second case is that it is not all shear walls, but basically all the walls are post-built walls, which are holes reserved for rebuilding the walls based on the spatial structure according to the architectural drawings. The two sides of the door opening are basically structural columns, and the upper side of the door is a lintel, which is also a reinforced concrete structure.

2. What should I do if the height of the door opening is small?

The first case is the case where the upper side of the door opening is a shear wall. If it is found that the height of the opening of our door is less than the 2100mm required by the specification, it does not meet the requirements of the specification. At this time, the solution is generally to find the corresponding responsible unit to make a claim, and it is difficult to re-process the hole, because the reinforced concrete structure is not allowed to be cut. The second case is that the upper side of the door opening is a structural column. Although it is also a reinforced concrete column, it is a secondary structure column. This kind of column can actually be dismantled and then remade, so it can be cut accordingly. But the steel bars inside cannot be destroyed. If the steel bars are damaged, they need to be restored.

3. The upper side of the door opening is a shear wall, and the personal suggestion for the solution when the opening is not high enough

The first is to suggest that this door can be made into a non-standard door as much as possible, not necessarily the height of 2100. Appropriately lower the height of the high door, so that it can meet the failed installation requirements. But be sure to let the door manufacturer come in advance to check and customize the door. The second suggestion is that we should not dismantle and modify this hole privately. When this problem occurs, we can go to the developer, and at least we can get some corresponding compensation fees.
